Question: What kind of laptop (notebook) should I get?
Answer: Currently the best overall choice for a laptop computer is one with an Intel Pentium M processor. NOT the Intel Pentium 4 M or the Intel Celeron M! The Pentium M is sometimes bundled with Intel's internal wireless card. When a laptop includes the Pentium M, Intel wireless card, and Intel chipset it is referred to as a 'Centrino' system. This is NOT important, just be sure it has the Pentium M processor. It's a good chip because it provides power while at the same time conserving battery power. Dell often has good deals on laptop computers. ( www.dell.com ) You should look for reviews before buying a laptop - check Google by searching for the laptop model followed by the word 'review'. Its a good idea to make sure the laptop includes an internal wireless card. Plugging in every time you want to go online isn't fun!
