Question: How do you restore a Dell computer to the original factory software?
Answer: On a new Dell computer you can restore the hard drive to its factory software by holding down CTRL+F11 during the BIOS screen. The BIOS screen is the very first thing you see when the computer turns on. It will say "DELL" in blue letters.
If you have an older computer you will have to find the software disks and reboot the computer with the windows installation CD in the drive.
