Question: Why does my computer run slow, lockup, and bombard me with pop-up windows?
Answer: If your computer is running slow and giving you pop-up ads, you probably have Spyware. Spyware is a very common computer problem. Many people don't even realize they have it and blame their computer for just being slow. To check for and remove spyware you can download Microsoft Antispyware from http://www.microsoft.com/spyware
Install it, and run a scan. After you finish up with that, its always a good idea to download AVG antivirus (its free) and run a virus scan just to be sure your computer is clean.
You can do so by going to: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 - Go to the bottom of the page and download the .EXE file.
